Sense and purpose:

Reviving the amateur radio bands. To make radio sport interesting for listeners as part of public relations.

Where and by which means can this be done?

Permitted are all operating modes, including digital and Internet-based, also via repeaters, all license classes, all bands, power free selectable. The project runs worldwide. The announcement will be published via the internet and various media (Facebook: AFU - DX Gruppe Germany).

Participants:

Participation is possible as a single station or club station with the necessary radio equipment, of course, also mobile or portable. There are activators and hunters. You can join the program at any time during the year.

Procedure:

As an activator you are located in a city or in a certain place (village or district). He calls CQ from there and hunters answer him. A nice QSO arises. The hunters collect those locations where an activator had been settled and get points for it. As an activator you try to be active in as many places as possible to collect your own activator points. An announcement should be made on the internet or in the DX cluster. It is absolutely necessary, that the activator has to be physically present at the activated site. But he can also collect his own hunter points from there as a hunter with other activators. At the end of the year, the points are recorded separately for activators and hunters. Whoever has the most points, gets a prize.

Scoring:

Each connection counts as one point. Young people under 14 get 1.2 points for each connection.

The QSO's should contain the following items:

Call, operator’s name, presentation of the station, information about your location and the running number of the connection. Geographical data, postal address, locally known names, everything is allowed. An interesting QSO should also be interesting for the SWL.

The short form of processing otherwise customary for contests is not desired.

Logbook:

A logbook does not have to be submitted for evaluation. We trust in your Hamspirit. It is sufficient to submit, monthly or on December 31st. of the current year, the points achieved by email to DH3ZK(at)t-online.de. We reserve the right to request the logbook on a random basis.
